Isabelle Chaussé, MSW, RSW

Hello! I’m Isabelle Chaussé, the founder of Chaussé Counselling Services. I currently reside in Sudbury, Ontario, but my roots are in a small northern Ontario community called Mattice. I’m passionate about providing counselling services in both French and English, and I want to share that French is my first language.
A Bit About Me
In my professional life, I wear a couple of hats:
- During the day, I’m in a leadership role at a non-profit organization.
- In the evenings and on weekends, I dedicate my time to my private counselling practice.
I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work, and I completed all my studies in French. On a personal note, I’m a proud mom to a wonderful little boy and happily married to an amazing husband. When I find some free time, you can often catch me enjoying walks, cooking up new recipes, or diving into interesting podcasts.
My Counselling Journey
Through my private practice, I’ve had the privilege of helping many individuals work through various challenges, including:
- Burnout
- Trauma
- Depression and anxiety
- ADHD symptoms
- Relationship issues
- Workplace conflicts
- And more
Therapeutic Approaches
I use a variety of therapy modalities tailored to each client’s needs:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
- Individual Trauma Therapy
If you think we might be a good fit for each other, I invite you to reach out and schedule your first appointment. I look forward to the possibility of working together on your journey toward healing and growth!
